Chapter 6

Chapter 6.

* Bang. Bang. Bang *

God I crawl out of bed and drag my body across the floor. I'm hanging right now. Fuck. I will never drink again like.  

* Bang. Bang *

"Fuck off man." I scream. I look in the mirror before opening the door. Oh my god. I still have my eyelashes on and makeup from the night before. I look ok I guess. I open the door finally. 

"What do you want?" I practically growl as I see Chris stood in front of me. 

"I just thought I'd come and see you. See if you've changed your mine on my offer?" He tries to push his way inside. 

"Get out. I don't want you near me yeah? So get lost." I snap. I hate Chris. We dated for two years. And all along he was sleeping with my ex best friend. He told me he was working late. Or that I was being to clingy. A serious relationship was too much for him. I was to blame. I was the one who was madly in love with him. Me. Not him. He never loved me. It nearly killed me getting over him. Now he walks in and out of my life time after time. I can't deal with all this. I just can't. 

"Ok I will leave you alone for now. But jade you'll come back to me one day, you know that." He laughs. I slam the door in his face. 

I go back and lay on the bed. He made me cry for weeks. Made my heart break. I thought it was going to be the end of my life. Fuck. Why am I Doing the same with Gary. He doesn't care for me either. He's just a player. He must be. He kissed me last night and it meant nothing to him. I jump up grabbing a pair ohms denim hot pants and vest top. I need to get out for a while. You know what will make me feel better some retail therapy. I finish my makeup off and grab a pair of heels and my bag. 

* 1 hour later *

I park up In the car park and head inside the shopping centre. I head inside river island, I need a new bag and purse. A few minutes later I have found the perfect bag and matching purse. I am just heading to the tills when I hear someone with the most high pitched laugh, ever. I smirk as i hear someone say "just shut the fuck up. God your so annoying. i don't want people to know I'm here yeah?" I laugh thinking what a dick. I head to the tills as the check out lady scans my things. The couple start having a domestic. 

"Well I want people to know we together, and you can't talk. You fucked off last night for a hour. Which slut were you with?" She snaps. 

"Oh shut the fuck up will you. I don't want people to know though. And no one. I was with no one ok? Just a friend." He snaps back. 

I turn around. "Oh fuck." I mutter under my breath. It's Gary and his new girlfriend. I pay for the bag and purse. And then try and sneak out of the shop.  "Jade. Jade, hey." I feel his hand on my arm. "Oh hey Gary. How are you?" I smile turning around. 

"Yeah I am ok. You gotta a hangover?" He smiles. 

"I didn't earlier. I still do now I think. But I'm getting there." I smile. 

"Oh let's have a look of what you've got." He looks in the bag. "Aw I like that bag. You'll have to matching shoes like." He laugh. 

"Aye your right. I might have too. Anyway I have to go..." That's when I'm cut off. 

"Gary. You left and didn't leave your card.... Woah who the fuck is this slut?" 

" what? Slut? Are you joking like, you better be. Otherwise you'll regret it." Gary stands in front of me. 

"Emma. God sakes shut up. She is just a friend. Here go and pay." He growls and she walks off. 

"Nice girlfriend." I snare 

"Hey. She's alright, I guess."

"Yeah and your settling for alright then?"

"What's it got to do with you jade? Nothing yeah. So just but out."

"You know what. I will. But she's only with you for one thing. And it isn't for you or sex. It's for your wallet. Nothing else. You could do so much better that Gary."

"Better? Yeah and who? Do you see anyone else here? Anyone queuing up for me? No." He shakes his head. 

"Maybe there is someone right in front of you." I bite my lip. I should have said that. 

"Who? You? Seriously?..." He stops, he's smirking. 

"Well I was. But not anymore. Your like all the rest of them.  I thought you were different. But you deserve each other." 

I turn away. "Jade. If you want me. You only have to say." He whispers in my ear. I shake Gary off and head out of the shop. Fuck. I need to get home...
